Where Quality Is Actually Decided
Quality control on recycling equipment is mostly not inspection. It is a sequence of decisions, each of which closes off a class of failure that no later check can catch. This page walks that sequence from drawing approval to the container.

Most cross-border equipment problems are not welding faults. They are misunderstandings from the drawing stage that were built perfectly. A machine sized for the wrong bulk density, wired for the wrong supply or laid out for the wrong building will pass every inspection after that point and still fail on your floor.
So four things are confirmed in writing before steel is cut. Your signature is on that drawing. If your site is 440 V at 60 Hz, or the only space you have is an L shape, this is the step where it becomes a design constraint rather than a problem discovered at installation.

Fabrication Checks
Plate thickness, weld quality on frames and tanks, rotor balance, and the machining tolerance on shafts and bearing seats. The first two are visible. The second two are what you are really paying for.


Why this stage gets recorded rather than rushed. Balance decides how much the machine vibrates for the rest of its life; clearance decides output particle size and how fast the knives wear. Correcting either after a machine is assembled means taking it apart.
Assembly and Electrical Checks
Motor and gearbox alignment, cabinet wiring against your supply, PLC interlocks, emergency stops and guarding. The question worth asking here is blunt: will the cabinet be built to 380 V and 50 Hz because that is what the shop is used to, and arrive wrong.
Control logic is itself an inspection item, not just a power-on test. A twin-shaft shredder with automatic start, stop, reverse and overload reversal is only proven when the overload condition is actually triggered and the rotor is watched to see whether it reverses. Lights coming on is not a passed test. The DS twin-shaft shredder is the machine where this matters most.

The Test Run
No load first, then material where possible. What gets measured is specific.

- Running current
- Against the nameplate, measured while material is going in — not at no load.
- Temperature rise
- On bearings and gearbox over a sustained run, not a two-minute start-up.
- Water flow
- Through the washing sections, at the rate the line is specified to.
- Discharge
- Whether output stays steady or surges. Surging is a feeding problem that shows up here or on your floor.
Hold the machine to your figures, not generic ones. A rigid washing line is specified to 8 to 16 mm flake and a PET bottle line to 12 to 20 mm, with final moisture below 1% after the drying section. Ask for the target that applies to the line you ordered, then ask to see it in the test record. Crusher and granulator output is set by screen aperture, and the centrifugal dryer is what carries the moisture figure.

One test of whether that pack is real: can you hand the electrical drawing to your own electrician and have them wire the machine without calling anyone. A drawing that only makes sense to the person who built the cabinet is not documentation.
Certification and Warranty





What the certificates cover
CE marking is issued with the order, along with the standard export documents. We do not claim certifications the factory does not hold, so anything beyond CE should be confirmed in writing before you rely on it. That is a deliberately narrow statement, and a narrow statement you can verify is worth more than a wall of logos.
Certificates are a transfer of confidence at the point of purchase. What carries the machine through year three is the process above: a signed drawing, a recorded test run, a document pack your own staff can use, and parts you can still buy.
Warranty as part of quality
The equipment carries a twelve month warranty with wear parts excluded, technical support continues for the life of the line, and once the warranty ends knives, screens and bearings are supplied at cost price.
Read the length as a statement rather than a term. How long a builder is willing to stand behind a machine is a claim about how long they expect it to run without attention, made in a currency they have to honour. The default build is 380 V, 50 Hz, three phase, and other supplies are configured to order. The important part is when it is decided: your supply is locked in at the drawing approval stage, before any steel is cut, rather than being adjusted somewhere near the shipping date.
Can I see the test-run video before the balance payment?
Test running is recorded for every machine and the file is part of what you receive. When it is released relative to payment milestones is a commercial term rather than a technical one, so raise it while the order terms are being agreed rather than afterwards.
What happens if a part fails during the warranty period?
Send photographs, the nameplate and a description of what the machine was running when it stopped. That determines whether the cause is a component fault or an application issue, which decides how it is handled. Replacement parts then ship directly, and technical support walks your maintenance staff through fitting them.
Which documents ship with the machine?
Operating manuals, electrical drawings, machine nameplates, the spare parts list with whatever spares your order includes, and photographs of both the packing and the loaded container. Check the drawings are in a form your own electrician can work from before the machine leaves.
