Find the Guide by Where Your Line Stops
The material tells you which line to build. The stage tells you which guide to open. Most enquiries we get are stuck at one of these five, not at the whole plant.

Size reduction
Bulky infeed has to be opened before anything can grind it. Drums, pipe and baled film go through a shredder first — twin-shaft at 8–15 rpm for high-torque work, single-shaft at 72 rpm where a screen has to control the output size.

Grinding to flake
The crusher screen is the entire size-control mechanism, and nothing downstream changes what leaves through it. Flake runs 8–16 mm for rigid drums and crates, 12–20 mm for bottle material.

Washing
Friction washing at 720–1,200 rpm takes off what is mechanically attached. Adhesive, oil and food residue need heat, and heat is the most expensive thing in the wash circuit — which is why hot versus cold is decided per contaminant, not per line.

Separation and drying
A sink-float tank splits polymers by density, and the centrifugal dryer behind it brings washed flake down to the under 1% moisture a pelletizer needs. Get this stage wrong and the extruder pays for it.

Pelletizing, or stopping at flake
Pelletizing is the highest-energy stage in the plant. If a buyer nearby takes clean washed flake, skipping it removes that load entirely — which makes this a question about your buyer, not about your equipment.

Where the Numbers in These Guides Come From
Our own parameter tables, not brochure figures
Throughput, installed power, footprint and manpower in these guides are read off the specification sheets for machines we build. A rigid washing line at 1,300–1,500 kg/h draws 180 kW installed; the same line at 200–300 kg/h draws 100 kW. Both come from one table, which is why the ratios do not flatter the small line.

Machines commissioned before they ship
Lines are assembled and run in our own workshop in Zhangjiagang before dispatch. Water consumption of 4–15 m³/h and output moisture below 1% are figures from commissioning, not from a catalogue.

Which guide should I read first?
Start from the material you actually collect rather than the machine you have in mind. Each material guide follows one waste stream through a line and marks the stages it can skip, which removes most of the catalogue before you look at a single model number.
My feedstock is a mix of several of these. Which guide applies?
Read the guide for the dirtiest and the bulkiest fraction you receive, because those two set the machine list. A line sized for muddy film will handle clean offcut; the reverse is not true. Where the mix changes week to week, the honest answer usually involves sorting before the line rather than a bigger machine inside it.
Do these guides still apply if I buy equipment from another supplier?
Yes. The process boundaries are physics rather than brand: flake size, moisture limits, contamination thresholds and water demand behave the same whoever built the machine. Use the figures as questions to put to any supplier you are comparing.
How current are the figures quoted in the guides?
Operating figures come from lines we have commissioned and are revised when new commissioning data contradicts them. Where a number is an industry planning range rather than a measurement from our own machines, the text says so on the spot instead of presenting it as a guarantee.
