BKL-MACHINE exhibited at Manufacturing Expo 2026 in Bangkok from 17 to 20 June, at stand 2E36 in the China Pavilion at BITEC Bangna. We went with one category of equipment rather than a general catalogue: machines that take post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste and turn it back into flake or pellet.

What We Took to Stand 2E36
A four-day show does not give you room to explain a complete plant, so we brought the part of the decision that buyers get wrong most often: which machine sits at the front of the line. Everything downstream is sized off that choice, and it is decided by the shape and cleanliness of the incoming material, not by the tonnage target.
The equipment families on the stand were the four that make up a working line, plus the auxiliaries that decide whether it keeps running:
- Single-shaft, twin-shaft and swing-arm shredders for bulky infeed — drums, crates, pipe, purgings and baled film that a granulator cannot take whole
- Crushers and granulators for size reduction to a specified flake, where the screen sets the output and nothing downstream changes it
- Washing lines configured separately for PET bottles, rigid HDPE and PE or PP film, because the three streams do not share a wash sequence
- Pelletizing lines, single-screw and compactor-fed, for converting washed flake into a saleable granule
- Friction washers, sink-float tanks, centrifugal dryers and squeezers — the units that decide moisture and residual contamination, and therefore the grade the output sells at

What Buyers in the Region Were Working Out
The questions at a Southeast Asian show cluster differently from those we get in Europe or North America. Three things came up repeatedly, and all three are configuration questions rather than price questions.
Film and woven sacks, not bottles. A large share of the material available regionally is agricultural film, industrial liner and PP woven sacking — light, high-surface-area, and carrying soil or product residue rather than the label glue and closures that dominate a bottle stream. That changes the front end completely: film needs a squeezer or a thermal dryer stage that a rigid line does not, and it runs at lower throughput for the same installed power. Capacity chosen against feedstock supply, not ambition. The most common correction we made on the stand was downward. A line sized for tonnage the local collection network cannot yet feed runs part-loaded, and a part-loaded washing line consumes close to its full water and power draw regardless. Buying a smaller line first and adding a second shift is almost always the cheaper route to the same annual output.
Whether flake alone is enough. Not every operation needs a pelletizer. If the buyer nearby takes clean washed flake, stopping at flake removes the highest-energy stage in the plant. Whether that works depends entirely on who is buying locally — which is a market question, not an engineering one. We cover how buyers grade material in the machines a recycling line needs.
Following Up After the Show
Enquiries opened at the stand are being handled by our sales team directly, not passed to an agent.
